Technology Explained
Enterprise security, without the complexity
AMD Secure Encrypted Virtualization (SEV) is like having a private vault built into the server’s CPU. The processor encrypts your data using keys known only to your virtual machine-not the hosting provider, not the hypervisor, and not someone with physical access to the hardware.
Imagine the difference between renting a room with a lock (traditional VPS) and renting a bank vault where only you know the code (AMD SEV). Even the bank owner can’t see what’s inside.
You don’t need to trust the hosting provider, the hypervisor, or other tenants. The hardware keeps your workload encrypted and isolated-making it mathematically impossible for anyone else to access it.
Your data is encrypted in memory (RAM) and on disk. Even if the physical server is stolen or the host system is compromised, your data remains unreadable-protected by hardware, not just software.
We’re the only provider offering both encrypted RAM (AMD SEV) and encrypted disk with user-controlled decryption keys. Our exclusive control panel lets you manage keys and decrypt your server on reboot-no console hassle, no shared access. Just straightforward, secure control.
Advanced security doesn’t have to be complicated. Using our Confidential Computing Servers is as easy as deploying any VPS:
Enterprise-grade confidentiality, minus the enterprise overhead
Join organizations that trust Incloudibly for their most sensitive workloads
Confidential Compute instances are priced comparably to dedicated servers with similar specifications, while providing default encryption, stronger confidentiality guarantees, and a resilient underlying architecture.

Learn more about AMD SEV and our Swiss hosting infrastructure
AMD Secure Encrypted Virtualization (SEV) encrypts each VM’s memory with a unique hardware key. The host system cannot read your data-even with physical access to the server. This enables a zero-trust architecture where only your workload can decrypt its own memory.
Standard VPS depends on software isolation. Confidential Servers use CPU-level, hardware-enforced encryption. The hypervisor, host OS, and other tenants can’t access your memory or disk contents. You get cryptographic assurance of confidentiality-not just a promise.
Yes. Always-on AES-256 disk encryption is enabled by default. Your data is encrypted at rest and in memory with no configuration required. Snapshots and backups are also encrypted using the same security standards.
Dedicated-class performance on AMD EPYC CPUs, delivering approximately ~90K read IOPS and ~38K write IOPS on replicated NVMe storage with consistent sub-millisecond latency (230–265 µs average). Networking runs on dedicated 10 Gigabit Ethernet with no oversubscription, and encryption overhead stays negligible thanks to hardware acceleration.
All servers are hosted in ISO 27001 certified Swiss data centers. Switzerland’s strong data protection laws and political neutrality make it ideal for GDPR, PCI-DSS, and other regulatory compliance needs.
Yes. Our support team helps you migrate from VPS or dedicated servers. We provide guided workflows and hands-on assistance for a smooth move-typically completed within hours with minimal downtime. You keep dedicated-class performance while gaining a more flexible and secure compute platform.
Everything is included by default: AMD SEV based encryption, always-on disk encryption, and advanced DDoS protection that effectively mitigates NTP, DNS, UDP, Memcached, TCP SYN, and TCP ACK flood attacks through multi-layer traffic scrubbing. You also get 10 GbE connectivity, automated backups, 24/7 monitoring, and a 99.99% uptime SLA-with no hidden fees or surprise charges.
Nested virtualization and GPU passthrough are not currently supported due to the SEV architecture. Most modern Linux distributions and Windows Server versions are fully compatible. Resources are provided under a fair usage policy, consistent with industry standards, to ensure predictable performance and platform stability for all customers. If you have specific or sustained high-intensity workload requirements, please contact us-our team will be happy to discuss suitable configurations.
